WALK-A-THON STARTS
ON MONDAY
WHEN:
Monday, May 3rd - Thursday,
May 6th
WHY:
Raise $17,000 to fund the
PTA budget and install a
world map in the play yard.
YOU:
Encourage your kids to
start collecting pledges
this week.
- We don't want kids
going door to door
alone, please make this
a safe outing for our
kids!
- Neighbors,
Grandparents, Aunts,
Uncles, co-workers, etc
all make great donors!
- Our goal is only $42
per child. If each
child reaches our 50 lap
goal (and with last year
as evidence, most will)
and a .25 suggested
donation per lap, each
child only needs to get
donations from three and
a half people to reach
our goal!
- Remember to give
each donor a receipt for
their donation, it is
tax deductable!
We need volunteers for all
PE class times during
Walk-a-thon week,
especially May 6th in the
following times:
9:45-11:15 AM - Kindergarten
parents
12:45-3:00 PM - 1st-6th
grade parents
5:00-5:30 PM - Set-up
volunteers
4:45-6:15 PM - Evening walk
volunteers
Family Walk, BBQ
and Silent Auction:
Please mark your
calendars for the family
walk from 5:30-6:30 PM
and the hosted BBQ from
6:30 - 8:00 PM on
Thursday, May 6th

a silent auction for the
two reserved parking
spaces in the school
parking lot.
