Ben Rush PTA hosts
Annual International
Night
The International Night Committee is
searching for people who would like to
perform and/or display their cultures at
Ben Rush. The event will take place on
April 8th, Thursday at 7:00pm-8:30pm in
the school gym.
There will be table displays (craft,
clothes, art, books, sample food,
etc.) and also five minutes for each
culture to possibly perform (song,
dance, dialog, poetry, tongue
twisters, pantomime, etc.). If you
are interested in representing your
country, please let us know

later than April 5th.
This is a great way to educate our
kids about their friends'
cultures. We are looking forward to
a fun entertaining evening!

and fulfilling volunteer
job. Prep-work is already being
done by other people; the
program just needs a "point

Coaches Needed
We are in need of
additional running
coaches for our running
club due to its
popularity--a new
session will be starting
on April 8th. Please
consider donating one
hour a week to the
school and to your
health by jogging with
this great group of
student runners every

Pennies for Haiti is coming!
Start
saving your spare change and
stockpile your piggy banks. Ben Rush
will be holding its annual penny
drive for two weeks from April 5th
to April 16th...this time in support
of Haiti earthquake victims. More
details to come.

Spring After-School Classes Start in
April
Rachel's spring art class
starts the week after spring
break on Wednesday, April 7.
A new session of Running
Club starts that same week
on Thursday, April 8 and is
open to new and returning
runners. Other
After-School classes will be
starting a bit later:
Musical Minds on Friday,
April 16 and Mad Science on
Monday, April 19.

Musical Notes
Intermediate Choir school
assembly on Thursday, March 25th at
2:15 PM in school gym.
Primary Choir (grades 1-3) begins on
April 15th at 3:00 PM.
All-School Talent Show on Friday,
April 16th from 1:30 - 2:30 PM.
All-Kindergarten Musical occurs
on May 13th (AM and PM concerts -
